Founded in 1992, Centreinvest Securities is a leading investment banking group serving Russian and international institutional clients. The company has a dedicated staff of more than 100 professionals with advanced degrees from leading Russian, US, and Western European universities and business schools and international investment banking experience.
Centreinvest Securities is regulated by the Russian Federal Financial Markets Service, and is a Founding Member of the Russian Trading System (RTS), and a Founding Member of both the Russian National Association of Securities Market Participants (NAUFOR) and the Depository Clearing Company (DKK).
NAUFOR’s National Ratings Agency assigned us an AA rating – very high reliability – again in II quarter 2007. We are consistently ranked in the top ten, by RTS trading volumes, out of over 245 Russian brokerages.
Each customer’s needs are different, and Centreinvest Securities adopts a flexible approach to every one. Below are some of the services that we currently offer our clients:
- We assist Russian companies in listing on the Russian Trading System and international exchanges. We help our diverse client base obtain debt and equity finance, improve share liquidity, develop investor relations, establish Depositary Receipt programs, and execute private placements.
- In our constant search and discovery of companies and new investment ideas, we combine thorough research with negotiations with corporate management and controlling shareholders, in order to be able to help issuers improve investment appeal and market only the best investment proposals to our clients.
- Our research team, driven by client demand, promptly produces unique custom research on any sector, or company, in Russia, or for that matter, the world. We arrange introductions and meetings between our clients and most companies’ management, and with Russian political figures.
- We execute trades in 2nd and 3rd tier stocks for our Russian and international clients. We are the market leader, by trading volume, in less liquid Russian, Ukrainian, and even Kazakh and Kyrgyz shares. Our traders speak with over 200 Russian brokerages on a regular basis, and our sales team covers over 1200 institutional clients – international as well as Russian, which include portfolio investors, private equity funds, strategic investors, holding companies, and corporations.
- On behalf of our clients, we approach potential buyers and sellers of sizeable equity blocks, and with the necessary discretion negotiate on their behalf, prepare investment memorandums, and assist in the execution and settlement of transactions.
